We are currently working with schools in Chard and Cranbrook to provide a series of hands-on cooking sessions for parents and their children.

These sessions are all about parents having fun cooking with their children, and learning more about eating healthy, delicious and budget friendly food. The schools in both Chard and Cranbrook have relatively high proportions of families on free school meals, which makes this type of session particularly relevant.

At the end of each session parents and children sit down together to enjoy the meal they have prepared.

HALFF has in the past also worked with school children in their classes, and hope to continue this work in the future.
